Free screensaver and clock inspired by a materpiece of surrealism

The Persistence of Memory, also known as Melting Clocks, is one of the best known works of art by Salvador Dalí, and probably the most representative work of surrealism. Dalí Clock, brought by 7art and inspired by this famous painting, is a free application that attempts to reproduce this wonderful work of art in an animated screensaver and clock. It basically shows a simple, animated clock with the static image of the painting in the background. Actually, the quality of the image is rather poor, and lacks some detail. Besides, the animated clock is too simple, to the point that after a while it becomes boring and dull. The fact that the application does not have configurable features is still more discouraging. It does not even have music or sound effects. However, the most annoying problem with this application is that to setup the screensaver it is necessary to install a third party program. Although this extra application can be easily uninstalled, the setup should have remained optional. The application works on all Windows operating systems, and requires minimal system resources.
